Arash Taghavi M.D.

Dr. Taghavi was born and raised in Southern California.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine and
received a graduate degree with a Master of Science in
Physiology from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. He
then obtained his medical degree from Creighton University
situated within both Omaha and Phoenix campuses.

Dr. Taghavi completed his internship and medical residency at
UC Irvine Medical Center. He then continued his training at
UCI for his fellowship in Cardiology. In the course of his
training, he was awarded the fellow of the year award in 2018
within the department of medicine. He additionally served as
Chief Cardiology fellow.

Dr. Taghavi’s areas of expertise include treatment of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, heart rhythm disturbances, and advanced valvular heart disease.

Dr. Taghavi is a true believer in compassionate, personalized, and comprehensive medical care.

Dr. Taghavi is also avidly involved in education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. In addition, he is actively engaged in the medical community, and is a member of several professional organizations, including:

  • Fellow in Training (FIT) American College of Cardiology
  • American Society of Echocardiography
  • American Medical Association

Dr. Taghavi has authored numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and has participated in multiple national and internal meeting as a faculty presenter.
